How it works

Register a meeting URL on a candidate or deal page in Melty Palette. At the scheduled time our recording bot ("メルティパレット 記録係") requests to join the meeting. Once the host admits it, the bot records audio and posts a chat notice. After the meeting ends, a transcript and AI summary appear on the same page automatically.

Installing the Zoom integration

1. In Melty Palette, open Settings → 外部連携 (Integrations) and choose Connect Zoom.
2. Sign in to Zoom and approve the requested permissions (user:read:token, user:read:user). This allows the recording bot to join meetings that you attend, including meetings hosted outside your Zoom account (Zoom's on-behalf-of requirement).
3. Register a Zoom meeting URL in Melty Palette with recording ON. Join the meeting yourself — the bot can join while you are in the meeting.

Using with Google Meet / Microsoft Teams

No account connection is required for recording: paste the meeting URL and the bot will request to join; admit it from the meeting. Optionally, connecting a Google account lets you issue a Google Meet URL in one click — the meeting is created on your own Google Calendar, and you can choose to send a calendar invitation to the counterpart.

Uninstalling

• In Melty Palette: Settings → 外部連携 → Disconnect Zoom (removes stored authorization immediately), or
• In the Zoom App Marketplace: Manage → Installed Apps → Melty Palette Meeting Assistant → Uninstall. Zoom sends us a deauthorization event and we delete the associated credentials.

Troubleshooting

• The bot never joined: it must be admitted by the host; check the waiting room.
• No analysis appeared: recording of Zoom meetings requires the connected user to attend the meeting. You can always upload an audio file manually from the 面談分析 tab as a fallback.
